Paper flower making has been practiced around the world for centuries and now it's your opportunity to try your hand at this long standing tradition.
In this workshop, you will learn the basics of European crepe paper along with the skills and techniques to create realistic paper flowers. We will be creating a long requested flower: the dahlia. We will use a combination of German and Italian crepe paper and artist pastels to create a life-like recreation of an open centered varietal. You will learn some tips and tricks including how artist pastels can create depth and texture to bring your paper flowers to life. You will leave the workshop with a detailed guide, templates and materials to create more dahlias at home.
